This is the remains of an old look out for Fort Hallick that was on the ranch property way back when. Can you see anything there in the rocks?

How about now?

Lately we have been having a lot of rain and colder weather, so when a nice warm day comes and the sun is out, we can count on the rattlesnakes to sunbathe out on the rock house. We didn't see this guy until our second look around the rocks, and it's a good thing we saw him because this snake didn't have any buttons so it wouldn't be able to rattle and warn us it was there. After getting a couple good pictures, Jake took care of the snake if you know what i mean.
