Pack Trip
A couple weekends ago Cade (in the picture above) Megan, and I went on a overnight pack trip. Cade has property up Smithfield canyon so we parked the trailer there and rode about 1 1/2 hours up into the mountains. We stopped at a grassy clearing and set up camp and stayed there for the night. You can see all our stuff loaded onto Cades mule. Then the next morning we packed everything up again and came home. It was really fun! I thought the horses would be a pain to take care of up there, but both mine and Cades horses, and mule, behaved themselves. We did forget the matches but luckily we saw some campers on the way up and they gave us some of their extras. It was a fun trip!
